Piedmont Community College will offer the course, “Simply Irresistible Cooking: Healthy Mexican from Scratch!” on Thursday, August 27, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. on the Person County Campus, 1715 College Dr., Roxboro in Building S, Room 100. Chef Jillian Whitlow will be the instructor.

Chef Jillian will teach you how to prepare Mexican favorites from scratch, such as Homemade Tortillas, Guacamole, Salsa and Tacos Al-Pastor. Toward the end of class, you will be seated to enjoy your Mexican dishes!

While you are preparing each dish, Chef Jillian will teach you different tricks and short-cuts on food preparation techniques.

Class fee is $35 which includes the price of the food. Fees must be paid by Monday, August 24, 2015. Register by calling Piedmont Community College at (336) 322-2133.
