Piedmont Community College will offer the course, “Basic Microsoft Word and Excel,” Monday-Thursday, March 2-12, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center 105 N. Main St., Roxboro. Kathleen Kersey will be the instructor.

This course will enhance your ability to execute Word and Excel documents. You will learn the basic functions of Word including creating, editing, and formatting documents. You will also learn how to proof documents, work with tables, use document layout styles, layout pages and much more. You will also learn the basics of Excel:  editing spreadsheets, working with formulas, formatting cells, managing worksheets, creating charts, applying layout and styles to a chart, and more.

Class fee is $125. Fee must be paid by Thursday, Feb. 26. Register by calling Jeanette Godsey at (336) 322-2133.
