Piedmont Community College will offer the course, “Basic Sewing,” on Thursdays, March 12-April 23, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Person County Campus, 1715 College Dr., Roxboro in Building C, Room 113. Angela Utley will be the instructor.

For beginners and those who want to brush-up on their sewing skills. Learn the basics of sewing. Some skills that you will learn include making a blind hem, button hole making, different uses of sewing feet, and basic sewing techniques. Sewing machines are provided.

Class fee is $55. Fee must be paid by Tuesday, March 10. A list of required supplies will be e-mailed to students upon registering. Register by calling Kathleen Kersey at (336) 694-8064.
