Enroll by January 30 for Piedmont Community College’s (PCC) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Hybrid course that starts Tuesday, Feb. 3.

PCC’s Continuing Education program will offer an EMT hybrid course, meaning some of the classes will be held online using Blackboard software and others will meet on campus for face-to-face sessions. This course will offer instruction on the basic life support skills necessary to provide emergency medical care in hospitals, physician offices and EMS systems. Students must contact the Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center at (336) 599-0032 to schedule an entrance exam. Pre-registration is required by Jan. 30.

The EMT course will start Feb. 3 and end May 9. Class will meet each Tuesday from 6-10 p.m., and occasional Saturdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The EMT Hybrid course cost includes a $188 registration fee and $150 estimated cost for the textbook.

Registration is required prior to the class date. To register, call the BDEC at (336) 599-0032.
