You can learn how to use eBy to build your business in two free seminars to be offered next week by Piedmont Community College’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC). Both seminars will be held at the BDEC, located at 105 N. Main St., Roxboro.

eBay Your Way to Success: The Basics of Selling on eBay Part 1

The first seminar, “eBay Your Way to Success: The Basics of Selling on eBay Part 1,” will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 6-9 p.m. Presenter Nick Hawks will teach you how to get started selling on eBay. This seminar will cover eBay features and policies, registering an account, choosing formats and categories, writing descriptions that sell, submitting photos, feedback, using PayPal, and shipping tips.

Building Your Business on eBay, Beyond the Basics

The second seminar, “Building Your Business on eBay, Beyond the Basics,” will be held Thursday, Dec. 4, from 6-9 p.m.  Nick Hawks will also present this seminar for individuals who have knowledge and experience selling on eBay. This seminar will cover starting and growing an eBay business, finding merchandise to sell, creating professional listings, marketing your business on eBay, managing active listings, resolving issues and feedback, and protecting your eBay business.

Both seminars will be offered at no cost to participants, but registration is required. To register, call the BDEC at (336) 599-0032.
