Piedmont Community College will offer the course, “Identify Native Plants and Their Uses,” on Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 5:45-8:45 p.m. at the Person County Campus, 1715 College Dr., Roxboro in Building C, Room 103. Lucas Bernard will be the instructor.

Armed with just a little knowledge, you will soon realize that many of the plants that are right in your back yard are useful and/or medicinal. Come learn from a professional landscaper who will share information on how to identify individual plants and plant families, and beneficial uses for some of our common local plants.

Class fee is $25. Fee must be paid by Monday, Oct. 13. Register by calling Kathleen Kersey at (336) 694-8064.
