Piedmont Community College Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC) will offer a free seminar, “Understanding and Working with Different Ages and Generations,” presented by Emily Ballance on Monday, Oct. 6, from 6-9 p.m. at the BDEC.
Each age group and generation has its own characteristics, and knowing what they are can help you build your business, improve customer service, boost productivity, employee morale and your bottom line! Learn what makes each age group and generation tick. Her presentations will include information on the specific motivators that work best for each generation: Nexters, 28 and under; GenXers, 28-48; Baby boomers, 48-65; and Traditionalists, 65-86.
