Piedmont Community College will offer the course, “Sewing I & II,” on Tuesdays, Sept. 2-Sept. 30, from 6-9 p.m. at the Person County Campus, 1715 College Dr., Roxboro in Building C, Room 113. Evelyn Ward will be the instructor. This class is for both the beginner and intermediate sewer. Learn the basic techniques of clothing construction, sewing for the home or for creating unique gifts. Pattern selection, pattern layout, construction methods, and techniques will make your project look professional.
Class fee is $50. Fee must be paid by Tuesday, Sept. 2. A list of required supplies will be e-mailed to students upon registering. Register by calling Kathleen Kersey at (336) 694-8064.
