This summer, Piedmont Community College will offer a variety of classes for your own interest! Here are few classes that will begin soon.
Learn from an artist, Evelyn Ward, the Beginning Techniques needed to create beautiful pieces of pottery! Students will learn to use a potter’s wheel to make basic cylinder and bowl forms.
If you are interested in repurposing, learn how to Repurpose Clothing, turn something from old to new! Angela Utley is an accomplished crafter and will teach you techniques that will make your items look brand new.
If that peaks your imagination, are you interested in cooking? Learn from Chef Jillian Whitlow, owner of The Icing on the Cakery, in a series of Bon Appetite! classes. The first, of the series, is Bon Appetite! Irresistible Local Fresh Cooking; use local fresh produce to make a healthy inexpensive meal. Learn techniques and skills to make evening meals hassle free.
