Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer a Nurse Aide I (NA1) Refresher course on the Person County Campus. The class will meet from 5:30-9:30 on the following dates: April 24, 28, 29, May 1, 5, 6, 8, 12, 13 and 15.

The NA1 Refresher course prepares students whose listing on the NC Nurse Aide I Registry has expired and students who are listed on the Nurse Aide Registry in another state to take the North Carolina NA1 Competency Examination. The course consists of a review of basic NA1 information and skills practice. Students must bring written documentation of registry listing to the first class. Upon the successful completion of the NA1 Refresher course, students will be eligible to take the Nursing Aide I Competency Exam at PCC.

The registration fee for the course is $125. The deadline to register and pay the registration fee is 12 noon, Thursday, April 24. For further information or to register, call Lisa Ashley, (336) 322-2113.
