How do students learn best? With hands-on, engaging experiences! PCC’s Nursing students gain a lot of hands-on training throughout the program, and to help learning in the area of Pharmacology, the PCC Nursing Team hosted “Pharmacology Games”!

During this activity, first year students experienced early exposure to medications in a low pressure, engaging, and fun environment. Second year students taught/facilitated the games, which encouraged a great deal of medication research (and thus learning).

Some of the games were:

  • PharmaJeopardy
  • Drug BINGO
  • Welcome to the Sh*t Show
  • Pharma Feud
  • Wheel of Pharmacology
  • PharmacoLogo

Prior to the event, second year students were asked to present their material to faculty for review to ensure accuracy.
