POOL: Adjunct Instructors (BSET) – Multiple Positions

Adjunct Instructor, Accounting

Duties: Deliver instruction, maintain grade and attendance records, recognize and respond appropriate to student diversity, utilize clear learning goals and well-planned activities; and keep weekly office hours.

Qualifications: Requires MAC or related field with 18 graduate hours in accounting; optimal candidate will have outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary: commensurate with experience and on highest degree. Final offer pending availability of state funds for current year budget.

Adjunct Instructor, Business

Duties: Deliver instruction, maintain grade and attendance records, recognize and respond appropriate to student diversity, utilize clear learning goals and well-planned activities; and keep weekly office hours.

Qualifications: Requires MBA or related field with 18 graduate hours in accounting; optimal candidate will have outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and on highest degree. Final offer pending availability of state funds for current year budget.

Adjunct Instructor, Digital Effects & Animation Technology

Duties: Delivers instruction, maintains grade and attendance records, recognizes and responds appropriately to student diversity, utilizes clear learning goals and well-planned activities, and keeps weekly office hours.

Qualifications: Requires bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, MIS preferred or related degree with 18 hours in information technology; must have experience in gaming and digital effects and animation technology; optimal candidate will have outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary: $29.76 – $31.24 per hour.

Adjunct Instructor, Game Design & Simulation

Duties: Deliver instruction to classes including Intro to Simulation and Game Design, Game Design, and Game Programming; facilitates learning with lectures, hands-on tutorials and project assignments; maintain grade and attendance records; recognize and respond appropriately to student diversity; utilize clear learning goals with well-planned activities; keep weekly office hours on campus. Some remote teaching may be required.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field required; experience using 3D animation, 3D applications, 3D modeling and animation skills, motion graphics design/2D graphics. Must have industry knowledge of animation, production standards, game design, game history, testing, and career development. Experience to include game design in programming software such as Python, Java, C++, or C#. Must assist IT in maintaining the classroom/lab with recommendations on software, hardware, and upkeep. Optimal candidate will demonstrate outstanding student service and interpersonal communication skills. Previous teaching experience preferred.

Salary: The hourly rate for this part-time role is dependent upon qualifications. If selected, the candidate reviewer will contact you to discuss the opportunity.
