Instructor, Criminal Justice

Duties: The criminal justice instructor teaches students criminal justice and public safety administration-related courses. Instructors develop syllabi, course plans, prepare lectures, prepare learning materials for face-to-face and distance learning environments, administer examinations, grade students, and assist the college with recruiting, registration, and retention of students.

Qualifications: Completion of a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or Administration of Criminal Justice, or completion of a master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or Administration of Criminal Justice. Two years of teaching experience or two years working in the criminal justice field is preferred.

Salary: $42,807 – $45,809 for 9 ½ month full-time position with benefits.
