RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops grant proposals and facilitates the pre- and post- award actions to secure grants which support the mission and goals of the College and provides reporting for the campus, community, and funding agencies; ensures compliance with all program and funding guidelines of awarding organizations under the direction of the Executive Director, PCC Foundation.

 

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Knowledge)

Requires Bachelor’s Degree in English, social sciences, education or related field and five to eight years grant writing experience in a post-secondary educational institution (experience in grant identification, writing, project management, and stewardship of existing grant portfolio); Master’s degree preferred with five to eight years grant writing experience in a post-secondary educational institution; some knowledge of fundraising, experience with capital campaigns, and familiarity with donor/prospecting software.

 

SALARY           $ 65,004 to $ 73,008 for 12 month full-time position with benefits

THE COLLEGE
Piedmont Community College (PCC) is a multi-campus two-year community college serving Person and Caswell counties, with a consolidated population of approximately 60,000 persons. The College is located 40 miles north of the booming Research Triangle Park and 50 miles northeast of the Piedmont Triad. It is one of 58 colleges in the North Carolina Community College System.
