Oversees and authorizes all financial transactions of the College to ensure that records accurately reflect the financial position of the College; responsible for the development of quarterly and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders; Responsible for internal controls and operational efficiencies throughout the College; coordinates and directs the preparation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing and the shipping/receiving functions, as well as auxiliary services, equipment coordination, and the child development center.

 MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Knowledge)

Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field;  at least five (5) years of successful professional experience in a directly related field, two (2) years of office management and supervisory experience; diversified accounting and budgetary experience at the mid-management level with any business or educational institution; experience in a high-level finance or accounting to include monthly closings, audits, accounts receivable, general expense; working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite product; experience in working with, or knowledge of, computerized accounting systems (Ellucian preferred); Certified Public Accountant license preferred.

SALARY           $ 62,004 to $ 72,000 for 12 month full-time position with benefits 


State Health Plan Options: Traditional 70/30 Plan or Enhanced 80/20 Plan employee-paid coverage. Membership in the Teachers’ and State Employees’ Retirement System which includes retirement benefits, short and long-term disability income plan and a death benefit; earn sick and annual leave; community service leave; other: employee-paid supplemental retirement plans and insurances: dental, vision, life, accident, disability, cancer insurance. Paid holidays as established by the College.
