Provide managerial and supervisory oversight of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning; provide support to faculty in the exploration and promotion of creativity, intellectual inquiry, and scholarship as integral components of the learning process; establish a college leadership program and first year instructor academy; explore and identify strategies to foster transformative learning; plan and deliver professional development opportunities for faculty and staff; and collaborate with other administrators in overall professional development initiatives.  


Education, Experience and Knowledge

Requires advanced degree in educational leadership, curriculum development and instruction, or related field. Experience with providing a post-secondary academic support services program; extensive experience in providing faculty professional development; understanding of strategies to strengthen retention and completion; teaching experience preferred.

 SALARY           $48,000-$52,008 for 12-month full-time position with benefits

Funding for this position is contingent upon continued grant funding availability



State Health Plan Options: Traditional 70/30 Plan or Enhanced 80/20 Plan employee-paid coverage. Membership in the Teachers’ and State Employees’ Retirement System which includes retirement benefits, short and long-term disability income plan and a death benefit; earn sick and annual leave; community service leave; other: employee-paid supplemental retirement plans and insurances: dental, vision, life, accident, disability, cancer insurance. Paid holidays as established by the College.
