Position Summary: This posting is a recruitment pool for a potential Part-time Instructor role with Piedmont Community College.  This position may teach on the Person County Campus (Roxboro, NC) or the Caswell County Campus (Yanceyville, NC).  Hiring for this position is contingent upon PCC student needs, funding, and scheduling throughout the year.  If selected, the candidate reviewer will contact you to discuss the opportunity.

Hourly Rate:  $20 to $24 per hour
Schedule: 19 hours per week

Duties:  Under the direction of the Program Director, instructs topics in the EMS, EMT, AEMT and/or Paramedic course under the guidance of a NC level I instructor or higher.
* Instructs basic/advance life support topics at the appropriate level and below according to approved and mandated requirements/standards
* Communicate orally or in writing to Program director matters related to the program
* Effectively operates facility equipment and training aids
* Attends mandated staff meetings; seminars; conferences, etc as scheduled or directed.

Qualifications:  EMT or Paramedic Certification.  Desired:  Level I or Level II instructor certification.
