Position Summary: This posting is a recruitment pool for a potential Adjunct Instructor role with Piedmont Community College.  This position may teach on the Person County Campus (Roxboro, NC) or the Caswell County Campus (Yanceyville, NC).  The class(es) may be delivered as face-to-face, hybrid, or online; and, may be scheduled during the day, at night, and/or on the weekends.  Hiring for this position is contingent upon PCC student needs, funding, and scheduling throughout the year.  The hourly rate for this part-time role is dependent upon qualifications.

Duties:  Delivers instruction, maintains grade and attendance records, recognizes and responds appropriately to student diversity, utilizes clear learning goals and well-planned activities, keep weekly office hours

Qualifications:  Masters in English or Masters with 18 graduate hours in English; 2 years community college teaching experience preferred.  The optimal candidate will also have outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
