This posting is a recruitment pool for potential tutors in the Learning Commons on the Person County (Roxboro, NC) and/or Caswell County (Yanceyville, NC) Campuses of Piedmont Community College.  Hiring for this position is contingent upon PCC student needs, funding, and scheduling throughout the year.  This posting may close at any time without notice.  The hourly rate for this part-time role is dependent upon qualifications.  We will be hiring tutors in various subject areas including but not limited to Math, Chemistry, English, History, and Biology.  If selected, the candidate reviewer will contact you to discuss the opportunity. 

Duties:  Tutor students in the subject area and document the sessions for reporting.

Required Qualifications:  Associate Degree or higher or Current College Student with 3.0 GPA or higher in the subject area.  The optimal candidate will also have outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Special Instructions:  Please list the subject areas in which you have the qualifications to tutor, your availability, and your preferred location in your cover letter.
