Emma graduated high school from the International Baccalaureate Program at South Iredell High School in 2019. She is currently a junior at UNC-Chapel Hill where she studies Sports Administration and Interpersonal/Organizational Communication. She loves watching and trying new sports, although she has been playing volleyball since she was 7 years old. Now, 13 years into her career, Emma is a Paralympic gold medalist. She made the switch to sitting volleyball back in 2017 after a chance encounter with the coordinator for USA Volleyball’s high performance sitting volleyball program. She now is an active member of the U.S. Women’s Sitting Volleyball Team and made her debut at the Tokyo Paralympics this past August.
