Fossil Expo with Kayleigh Long

Have you ever wondered how dinosaur fossils are found?  Would you like to see actual dinosaur fossils? Now is your chance to see a real Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth and other dinosaur fossils, showcased by Roxboro native and Roxboro Community School graduate, Kayleigh Long!

Kayleigh will give an overview of paleontology and the digs in which she has participated.  She will also have her personal fossil collection available to view.  This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity for some of our students (and staff) to see a REAL Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth.

Presentations at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. in S100. Parking available in Lot 4.

Classes and individuals welcome. This event is open to the public.
