Nurse Aide Refresher begins
Students whose listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry has expired within the past 2 years or students who are currently listed on another state’s registry and seek listing on the N.C. Nurse Aide I Registry are eligible to enroll in this 40-hour course. The course provides a review and update of the proper techniques for providing personal care and basic nursing skills. Upon the successful completion of this refresher course and the state competency evaluation, students are eligible for listing on the NC Nurse Aide I Registry.
Class held August 10 – 25, 1 – 5 p.m.
NURSE AIDE REFRESHER COSTS
1. Tuition: The registration fee is $125.
2. Optional Student Accident Insurance: $1, paid with registration fee when requested by the student.
3. Textbook: The Refresher class does not require a textbook. All materials are provided for the student in class.
4. Other costs: Stethoscope, blood pressure cuff and a watch with a second-hand.
5. NNAAP: $120 State competency exam, paid on the last day of class.

Registering for Continuing Education Courses is fast and easy! You can register in person, online, or by mailing your payment with registration form.
Review the available classes. You will need the Course start and end dates, course title, and course location.
To register in person, come to the Workforce Development office on the Person or Caswell County Campus to complete the registration form and pay your registration fee.
