Truck Driver training, CDL Class A begins
Piedmont Community College and Trans-Tech are offering a superior commercial driver’s license program June 29 – July 24.
Classes will meet
Week 1 & 2: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Week 3: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Week 4: Monday – Thursday, 2 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. (to allow for night driving)
Additional Info:
* Small class sizes, to ensure safety.
* Students will train on an automatic transmission
* Job placement assistance
* Students must pay the $125 for screenings and receive required results BEFORE registering
* Registration fees must be paid 5 days prior to the first day of class
COURSE FEES:
$125 Drug Screening, Criminal Background, Driver Record, & Physical
$2,324.65 CDL Class A Training Fee (includes: Registration, & Student Accident Insurance)
$2,449.65 Total*
*Students will also be responsible for $160 cost of licenses and permits.
