Certified Production Technician training begins
Hands-on evening and weekend advanced manufacturing course now available at PCC through short-term training
Certified Production Technician (CPT) training
December 3 – April 25
6-9 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday and 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday on the Person County Campus

Certified Production Technician training offers an industry-recognized credential designed by the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council. Students can earn certificates in the following areas:
• Safety Awareness
• Manufacturing Processes
• Quality Practices
• Maintenance Awareness
In addition, successful students gain skills in manufacturing processes and are prepared for employment in entry-level positions in the manufacturing field.
In fact, the opportunity to participate in a paid internship while in training is an option for students proving they have the ability and desire to work in a team environment.
