This 120-hour course was designed following the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services 2016 document “EMS Refresher Educational Program Guideline.” The curriculum for this refresher course meets the National Education Standards curricula requirements for re-credentialing Paramedics. This refresher course is intended for the North Carolina EMS community to use for recredentialing their Paramedic. This course may also be used as a “preparatory” class for currently credentialed Paramedics wishing to test for their National Registry. The information contained in this course will help prepare Paramedics for the WRITTEN NREMT exam.

Course Prerequisites

EMS Credential Status:

 Currently holds a valid North Carolina or NREMT Paramedic credential.

OR

 Held an Advanced Level North Carolina EMS Credential (AEMT or Paramedic) that has expired within the last four (4) years.
