HVAC-Heating Course begins
HVAC-Heating training available at PCC
Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer the HVAC Heating course on September 16 – December 10. This course will meet from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays on PCC’s Person County Campus.
The HVAC-Heating program focuses on basic fundamentals of the HVAC industry, emphasizing material for the certification exam. Participants will learn about:
• Common tools and equipment used by HVAC technicians;
• HVAC electrical and system design, sizing and layout;
• Generally accepted installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting methods
PCC’s HVAC-Heating course is the first of two HVAC Technician training sessions. The second course, with a concentration on air conditioning, will begin in January 2020.
Imagine gaining skills for less than $300 per training session in a career that projects 14% growth over the coming years! In addition, labor market information indicates that the average HVAC Technician (requires both sessions) earns over $45,000 per year. Now seems like a great time to visit PCC to get started in a new profession!
