Industry - Workforce Certification Academy© Training

North Carolina Career Readiness Certificate (NC CRC) - Show employers that you have the skills necessary to be successful in a particular job with this certificate that is recognized across state borders. Earn your NC CRC in one of PCC's free orientation classes!

Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) - The CLT training provides two national credentials; Certified Logistics Associate and a mid-level Certified Logistics Technician. These certifications are nationally validated skills standards which prepare individuals for front-line jobs in material handling, manufacturing factories, warehouses, distribution centers, and transportation.

Certified Production Technician (CPT) - The CPT course provides training for national certification in four areas: Safety Awareness, Manufacturing Processes, Quality Practices, and Maintenance Awareness.

OSHA Forklift - This course provides instruction on the operation and maintenance of an industrial forklift. Core topics include forklift design, controls and instrumentation, pre-use inspection, safety awareness, and forklift stability. This course meets the training requirements for OSHA regulations.

Siemens Level I - Mechatronics focuses on the integration of mechanical, electrical, fluid power (hydraulics or pneumatics), and computer technologies to control machine movements. Students begin with courses in Mechanical Components, Senors, Basic Electronical Components, Pneumatics, Control Logic and Robot Programming Control. Upon successful completion of the Siemens Mechatronics Program courses, students take the Siemens Level 1 Certification Exam and are eligible to obtain college credit by examination.

HVAC Technician - Gain the skills necessary to become employed as an HVAC Technician! Students will interact with operating systems and construction materials for hands-on learning!

Notary Public - PCC offers Notary Public instruction required for commissioning as a notary in North Carolina. This course is offered regularly in Person and Caswell counties and provides information about legal, ethical, and procedural requirements of notarial acts.

Truck Driver - PCC’s truck driver training program consists of extensive classroom, range, and behind-the-wheel instruction to prepare students for the Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) skills examination. This test will be provided and administered at the completion of the course. Students will also earn their OSHA Forklift certification.

Phlebotomy Technician - This course provides theory and clinical experiences needed for the proper collection of blood and other specimens used for diagnostic testing. Emphasis is placed on ethics, legalities, medical terminology, safety and universal precautions, health care delivery systems, patient relations, anatomy and physiology, and specimen collection.
