This class will prepare the Emergency Responder (Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS and Emergency Management) for the Active Threat Incident in your Community.  We will look at History, Tactics, Mass Casualty Care and Incident Command of an Active Threat and combining this information, move from Chaos to Control and most importantly, Stopping the Threat!

After completing the instruction portion of the training, Responders will work in a Multi-Discipline Group to develop an Incident Action Plan using NIMS principles to respond to, evaluate, mitigate and recover from a Multi-Focal Active Threat Scenario and then complete the training with conducting an Operational Period Briefing for the oncoming shift coming in to relieve them.

Groups will also have time to conduct a Hotwash and critique the various response plans.
