Description:
We're open late to help you register for Fall classes!

Interested in taking college classes this Fall? The staff at Piedmont Community College (PCC) are available Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. each week to help you with reviewing course options and register.

To make it more accessible for those needing face-to-face guidance after 5 p.m., the College staff will be available until 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 16 on both the Person and Caswell County Campuses.

Registration will continue through July and August with classes beginning on Thursday, August 15. Watch your mailbox for important dates and course information from PCC or view the full and most up-to-date schedules at www.piedmontcc.edu/schedule. Class schedules also may be accessed using the WebAdvisor option on PCC’s website. Returning students may use WebAdvisor to register for classes online.

The PCC Team will also offer a new student/interested student Information Session from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17 on the Person County Campus in the Student Center (Building E) and Thursday, July 18 in Caswell County Campus in Building K, Room 202. These events will introduce you to staff members, as well as offer details from various areas of the College, such as:
• Registration
• Financial Aid & Scholarships
• Tutoring Services
• Disability Resources
• Career Coach
• Student Engagement, such as Student Government Association

To find out more about the Information Sessions or to RSVP, call LaKisha at (336) 322-2174.

Why PCC?
• Save Money! Students can complete general education or program specific classes for a fraction of the cost of a four-year institution. Financial Aid, scholarships, and a payment plan program are also available.

• Personal Attention! Class sizes at PCC are smaller than most four-year institutions, thus offering more occasions to interact with instructors and other students. One-on-one tutoring is also available through the Academic Success Center on each campus.

• Hands-on Learning and Work Based Learning Experiences! PCC offers hands-on learning in many programs of study, including Phlebotomy and other health care programs, Welding, Digital Effects & Animation Technology, Cosmetology, Fine Arts, Electrical Power Production Technology, Mechatronics, and Agribusiness to name a few!

• Discovery! Students can explore different course options to discover what interests them most before finalizing a program of study.

• Get a Job! In addition to curriculum programs that can lead to a new job, PCC also offers short-term training where students can earn national and international credentials.

• Transfer Options! Transferring from PCC to a four-year institution has been made easy with various articulation agreements in North Carolina and Virginia.
