Welcome to Pacer Nation! Congratulations on investing in YOUR future by continuing your education at Piedmont Community College (PCC). We are excited to have you join us and have been hard at work to ensure YOU will experience an enhanced learning environment! Here are a few examples of recent improvements:
- Renovations in Buildings D and E have been completed! Check out the updated Café, student mural, and classroom spaces;
- Wi-Fi signals have been boosted to improve performance across campuses;
- Internship opportunities for ALL students will become a reality with newly acquired funds;
- Outdoor basketball goal and soccer nets were added to the Person County Campus;
- “Last dollar” funding to help eligible students earn an AAS degree DEBT FREE has been secured! This is the Pacer Promise program that will begin in Fall 2020;
- The latest technology will be integrated into computer program classes with new grant dollars;
- A NEW Public Safety Administration degree program (pending approval from SACSCOC) has been initiated;
- The Timberlake Art Gallery in Building D was recently revitalized;
- The NEW Center for Educational and Agricultural Development (CEAD) will be constructed in Caswell County with recently attained funds.
And there’s more to come … The PCC Team is working to expand online offerings, create clearer pathways for completion, and make the overall campus environments more appealing.
