English as a Second Language

FREE English language instruction is provided for those whose native language is not English. You can improve your English speaking, reading and writing skills in ESL class. Instruction is provided in traditional and online/hybrid formats.  Online access is available 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week.  This service is provided through the Adult Basic Skills (ABS) Department at Piedmont Community College.

Please bring the following items with you when you come to register or at your first class meeting:

  • Social security number or tax identification number
  • Current, government issued picture ID or drivers license
  • Minors, ages 16-17, will need a release from their local public school and a guardian release form (if you have questions please call or email the contact below)
