Antwan Marcel Ragland credits PCC’s tuition free high school program for propelling his career

In 1995, Antwan participated in what was then Piedmont Community College’s Huskins Program. As a teenager, the prospects of leaving his high school facility mid-day to go to a college was thrilling! “I couldn't be happier with the path that I chose. It's afforded me so much more than I could've ever dreamed of coming from such a small town. I've traveled to countless cities for training, educating, [assisting] weddings, and building my skill-set continuously throughout the span of my career.”

Scholarships available at Piedmont Community College for Fall semester

The Piedmont Community College Foundation is accepting applications for the current scholarship round. Scholarships ranging from $250 - $1000 are available for students who apply through the online application found at www.piedmontcc.edu/scholarships by the July 15 deadline. Recipients can use awarded funds to assist with tuition, books, and fees for their Fall semester at the College.

Averett University and Piedmont Community College Partner in Sociology/Criminal Justice Articulation Agreement

Today, Averett University President Dr. Tiffany M. Franks and Piedmont Community College President Dr. Pamela G. Senegal signed an articulation agreement focused on traditional students studying sociology and criminal justice. This agreement allows students who have completed PCC’s Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in criminal justice technology to transfer to Averett University and continue their education to earn a Bachelor of Science in sociology/criminal justice. The students will enter Averett with a junior status and can expect to graduate after completing a minimum of 60 credits at Averett.
