Piedmont Community College graduates to hear from Martin Community College President and Alumnus of the Year on May 19

PCC will host its 47th graduation ceremony. Weather permitting, the event will be held at the Person High School stadium at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. During the ceremony, students and guests will hear from Jeanean Bustamante, 2017 PCC Alumnus of the Year and Dr. Kenneth A. Boham, Interim President at Martin Community College.

Don't miss the mandatory summer orientation! Haven't registered yet? There's still time and PCC’s summer classes make it easier for students enrolled in or enrolling in a 4-year school to gain 3-6 credits over the summer, while also saving the family hundreds of dollars.

TV journalist and PCC graduate Tim Pulliam to speak at event honoring academic success of Piedmont Community College Students

Pulliam grew up in Person County, graduating with an Associate in Arts degree from Piedmont Community College prior to transferring to Winston-Salem State University. He returns to encourage PCC students during the second annual Honors Convocation ceremony on April 27. This event is at the Kirby Cultural Arts Complex and is open to the community.

North Carolina art and culture to be feature in 3-day Step into the Arts event by PCC

Piedmont Community College’s Step into the Arts event returns in 2017 with the theme: North Carolina: Our Home. Activities will take place over a three-day period, April 6-8, and feature a variety of art-enriched events in multiple locations. All of the events are free and open to the public. Community invited to presentation by Photographer and New York’s School of Visual Arts faculty member at PCC on March 16

PCC to launch weekend and evening Transfer and Nursing programs in Fall 2017

PCC will launch a Weekend and Evening Program, in Fall 2017, for prospective students interested in pursuing either an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree in the College’s University Transfer Program or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). PCC Student Art on display at Caswell Council for the Arts in March and April

PCC's DEAT students will have 25-30 pieces of art on display from March 16 – April 14. An opening reception will be held on March 16, 5-7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
