Certified Logistics Technician orientation and training available at PCC’s Workforce Training Center

FREE Orientation to CLT will be August 30 – September 8; full CLT training scheduled for September 19 – October 11. The CLT training provides two credentials: Certified Logistics Associate and a mid-level Certified Logistics Technician. These certificates meet the national skills demand which prepares individuals for frontline material handling work in factories, warehouses, distribution centers and transporters. There are local jobs available in logistics starting at $16/hr.

Three students selected to serve as Piedmont Community College Ambassadors

Tanika Bass of Stem, Drew Davis of Roxboro, and Joshua Welch of Timberlake will serve as official student representatives of the College at community and school functions. They will also aid as greeters, conduct tours, and assist in other ways at College functions.

PCC will be closed Tuesday, August 9 for professional development; Early College, Summer Camp, and Child Development Center remain open

Piedmont Community College will close both its Person County Campus and its Caswell County Campus to the public on Tuesday, August 9, so that faculty and staff can participate in professional development activities. Students enrolled in the Person Early College for Innovation & Leadership (PECIL) will follow their normal schedule. The College’s Child Development Center and Summer Camp on the Person County Campus will also operate on a normal schedule.
