The Courier-Times reports on PCC's Kick Butts Day, hosted by students in the Nursing program

PCC received two grants to support the initiative to go tobacco-free: The first was a $13,102 grant from The American Cancer Society and CVS Health Foundation awarded in September, 2016, as part of their Tobacco-Free Generation Campus Initiative. The second was a $10,000 grant awarded on June 10, 2016, from Truth Initiative Smoke-Free College program.

PCC’s nursing students to host health fair as part of Kick Butts Day

Students in the Associate Degree Nursing program at Piedmont Community College are hosting a health fair in conjunction with the American Cancer Society for Kick Butts Day on March 15 with activities from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on both campuses. Quit Kits also available!
