Mayor Merilyn Newell to Serve as Keynote Speaker for PCC’s Women of Distinction Luncheon

The event will be held 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kirby Cultural Arts Complex. Six women in Person and Caswell counties will be honored for their accomplishments in one of the following areas: Education, Community Development, Business, Healthcare, Community Service, and Volunteer Caregiving.

Piedmont Community College Announces Women of Distinction Awards

Piedmont Community College is now accepting nominations for the college’s first Women of Distinction Awards. This award recognizes the accomplishments of local women who exemplify the vision of the college by being a contributor to their own community and beyond, and have demonstrated excellence in the categories of Education, Community Development, Business, Healthcare, Community Service, or Volunteer Caregiving.
