PCC awarded nearly $200,000 from Golden Leaf Foundation grant for short-term training

The program will benefit workers and students in Caswell, Franklin, Granville, Person, Vance, and Warren counties, former tobacco-dependent, economically distressed, rural communities, by providing pathways to employment in advanced manufacturing. PCC will offer Medication Tech Training beginning April 30

The Med Tech course prepares unlicensed personnel to take the North Carolina Adult Care Medication Test that enables them to give medications in adult care homes, assisted living facilities and group homes. Local Nurses Honored at Nurses’ Night Out

The Piedmont Community College Alumni Partnership and Person Memorial Hospital will host an evening of celebration and fun for local nurses on Friday, May 4. Nurses’ Night Out will be held at Roxboro Country Club. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $20 for PCC Nursing alumni and are available for purchase at www.piedmontcc.edu/nursesnightout.
