North Carolina art and culture to be feature in 3-day Step into the Arts event by PCC

Piedmont Community College’s Step into the Arts event returns in 2017 with the theme: North Carolina: Our Home. Activities will take place over a three-day period, April 6-8, and feature a variety of art-enriched events in multiple locations. All of the events are free and open to the public. PCC to offer Notary Public class in Person and Caswell counties

The first class will be held in Caswell County on Monday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 5, 6–9 p.m. on the Caswell County Campus. The Person County course will be held on Monday, May 8 and Wednesday, May 10, 6–9 p.m., at the College’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center. The Courier-Times reports on PCC's Kick Butts Day, hosted by students in the Nursing program

PCC received two grants to support the initiative to go tobacco-free: The first was a $13,102 grant from The American Cancer Society and CVS Health Foundation awarded in September, 2016, as part of their Tobacco-Free Generation Campus Initiative. The second was a $10,000 grant awarded on June 10, 2016, from Truth Initiative Smoke-Free College program.
