North Carolina poet to conduct creative writing workshops at PCC

The creative writing workshops will be held Tuesday, March 11, on PCC’s Person County Campus from 11 a.m.-noon, in Building S., Room 100. She will facilitate a similar workshop on PCC’s Caswell County Campus on Tuesday, March 25, in Building K, Room 202-203, from 11 a.m.-noon.

Registration Opens for Medication Aide

Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer a Medication Aide course on the Person County Campus. The class will meet on the following dates: March 17, 20, 24, 27, 31, April 3, 7, and 10 from 6 p.m.–9 p.m. The registration fee is $70.

PCC will offer Nurse Aide I Training

Piedmont Community College will offer two Nurse Aide I training courses on the Caswell County Campus. The morning course will be held March 24-May 20, Monday-Thursday, from 8 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. The afternoon course will be held March 26-June 5, Monday-Thursday, from 1:15 – 5 p.m.

College to offer Handgun Safety Course

Piedmont Community College will offer a Handgun Safety class on Saturday, March 15. The eight-hour class will be held from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with instructor Lynn Ward. The registration fee is $99 for the class and must be paid one week prior to the date of the class to reserve a space in the class.

PCC to offer Orientation to CPT Training

Certified Production Technician (CPT) training along with an orientation class will begin, March 11, and will meet Tuesdays, and Thursdays through April 3. Classes are held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at PCC’s Workforce Training Center, 303 S. Morgan St.,Roxboro.
