PCC to offer Computer Literacy Training

Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer the Computer Literacy for Gaining Employment course on April 11 – May 11 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Classes are held at PCC’s Workforce Training Center located at 303 S. Morgan Street in Roxboro.

Students will learn basic computer concepts and skills in order to use computer technology in everyday life and to develop new employment opportunities. This course will help students develop a fundamental understanding of computers and develop the essential skills they will need to begin computing with confidence.

Participants will also learn Microsoft Word®, PowerPoint®, and Excel® basics. Successful students will earn an official Microsoft® Digital Literacy certification to add to their resumes and share with potential employers at job interviews.
