PCC will offer FREE Employability Classes

Piedmont Community College will offer free Employability Classes on the Caswell County Campus.

Resumes and Cover letters course will be held October 11 and 13, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch. Students will leave class with a pristine resume and cover letter that is sure to land them an interview! Learn effective ways of creating and submitting resumes that will showcase qualifications and skills.

Job Applications course will be held October 20 – Nov. 8 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 – 4 p.m. Students will learn how to complete hardcopy and online job applications through NC Works and via direct company websites.

Introduction to Computers for Today’s Job Search course will be held October 18 – November 8 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Students will learn basic keyboarding, word processing, and Internet skills. Email accounts will be set up and students will learn how to save documents and attach to emails.

The courses are FREE for unemployed or underemployed individuals. Space is limited! Students are encouraged to pre-register for classes. For further information or to register, please call the Workforce Development office at (336) 694-8064.
