Piedmont Community College will offer a computer literacy course on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting Tuesday, March 22, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Workforce Training Center, 303 South Morgan Street in Roxboro for those looking for work. The final class will be held on May 24.

This course will teach students how to navigate the internet, ensure your safety online, and search for jobs online. Participants will also learn Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel basics with the opportunity to earn a Microsoft Digital Literacy Certification.

“I have had the privilege of taking the Computer Literacy class and I have learned so much. The class is very informative and the people you meet so nice,” shares a former student. “The instructor makes you feel so at ease. I am a senior and would recommend this class for anyone who wants to learn more about the computer while looking for work.”

Class fees are waived for any student who is unemployed. Register by calling 336-322-2156 today.
