Piedmont Community College will offer Nurse Aide I training on the Caswell County Campus. The course will be held March 14 – May 11, Nurse Aide StudentMonday-Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Instruction provided in Nurse Aide I training will prepare the student to take the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Competency Test for placement on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry. Successful completion of the training and competency test will enable the student to seek employment in the health care industry as a Certified Nurse Aide I.

Pre-registration by appointment is recommended. The registration fee is $188. A textbook is required and is available for purchase from the College Bookstore. Students must also bring current results from a Tuberculosis (TB) skin test on the first day of class. Upon the successful completion of the course, a competency test fee of $101 is payable to the testing agency.
