Piedmont Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a free seminar “Marketing to and Engaging Different Ages and Generations,” on Thursday, December 3, from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center, 105 N. Main St., Roxboro. Emily Ballance

Knowing what appeals to and interests different ages and generations is the secret to reaching the customers that you want. In this seminar, participants will examine characteristics of each generation, marketing tools that work best for each, words and phrases that resonate with specific groups, and ways that social media can be used to engage generations and create loyalty.

Emily Ballance, MEd, LPC, CSP delivers humorous, interactive seminars that entertain, engage and impact audiences everywhere. Ballance speaks across the country on generations, customer service, marketing, communication, stress management, positive humor, resilience, and wellness, all with a humorous twist.
