PCC to participate in Personality on Saturday, August 29

In addition to sharing information about courses offered at Piedmont Community College, many instructors will be on site with various educational and interactive activities at Personality on Saturday, August 29, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Visit the PCC booths, located on Court Street right off of Main Street and learn about or participate in the following:

Booth One:
• General Recruiting Information
• TRiO and Student Support Services Information

Booth Two:
• 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. – “I can see into your heart” – learn more about eyes and hearts
• 12 – 1 p.m. - Tangram Test
• 1 – 2 p.m. – Toothpick Tower STEM Challenge
• 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. – “Brains, Bones, and Body – oh my!”

Booth Three:
• 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Workforce Development Information
• 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Digital Effects and Animation Technology Interactive Activity

Booth Four:
• 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. – “Get Active with Early Childhood”
• 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. – “Fun & Games – It’s Operation”
• 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – PERSONal Portraits!
• 1 – 4 p.m. – “What’s your Guess, Sugar?”  - Guess the sugar content in various drinks; blood sugar testing (with signed waiver)

Booth Five:
• 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Film and Video Display
• 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Adult Basic Skills – ABS Superheroes: Knowledge is Power!

Booth Six:

• 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Hand and Arm Massages
• 12 – 1 p.m. – “Solve the Crime” Clue Activity
• 1 – 2 p.m. – Lifting Prints (prepare to get dirty!)
• 2 – 4 p.m. – Beanbag toss; Learn about PCC's Child Development Center
