Piedmont Community College’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC) will hold a Notary course on Monday and Wednesday, September 14 and 16. The classes will be held from 6-9 p.m. at the BDEC located at 105 N. Main Street in Roxboro.

This course will prepare you for appointment to the position of Notary Public in North Carolina. Instruction will include general powers and limitations, study of the fees structure, and the requirements for attestation. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and speak and write English.

Cost for the course is $70, plus the cost of the textbook. Advanced payment of the registration fee is required to reserve your space in this course. To register, call the BDEC at (336) 599-0032.
