Piedmont Community College will offer Nurse Aide I training on the Caswell County Campus. The course will be held Feb. 9 – May 12, Monday-Thursday, from 5:45 – 9 p.m.

Instruction provided in Nurse Aide I training will prepare the student to take the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Competency Test for placement on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry. Successful completion of the training and competency test will enable the student to seek employment in the health care industry as a Certified Nurse Aide I.

Pre-registration by appointment is required. The registration fee is $188. A textbook is required and is available for purchase from the College Bookstore. Students must also bring current results from a Tuberculosis (TB) skin test on the first day of class. Upon the successful completion of the course, a competency test fee of $101 is payable to the testing agency.

For further information or to schedule an appointment to register, please call Lori Watlington at (336) 694-8057.  Deadline to register is 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6.
