Piedmont Community College (PCC) is expanding its existing training programs offered through the college’s Workforce Certification Academy© (WCA) to its Caswell County Campus. In an effort to improve the accessibility of the WCA, the Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) training will now be offered.

Orientation to CLT Training will begin March 18, and will meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. -3:30 p.m.  This course is required for anyone planning to enroll in the Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) training and is eligible for financial assistance. The CLT course will begin April 8, and will meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. through May 8.

The Certified Logistics Technician training provides two credentials; Certified Logistics Associate and a mid-level Certified Logistics Technician.  These certificates are nationally validated skills standards which prepare individuals for frontline material handling workers, factories, warehouses, distribution centers and transporters.
