Piedmont Community College will offer an evening and weekend section of Nurse Aide I training on the Caswell County Campus during the Spring Semester. The evening section will be held Jan. 28-April 18, Mon.-Thurs., 5:45-9 p.m. The weekend section will be held Jan. 25-May 9, Fri., 5-9 p.m. and Sat., 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.  

Instruction provided in Nurse Aide I training will prepare the student to take the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Competency Test for placement on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry. Successful completion of the training and competency test will enable the student to seek employment in the health care industry as a Certified Nurse Aide I.  

Pre-registration is required. The registration fee is $183. A textbook is required and is available for purchase from the College Bookstore. Students are also required to bring a stethoscope and blood pressure cuff to use in the class. Upon the successful completion of the course, a competency test fee of $101 is payable to the testing agency.
