Piedmont Community College’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC) will offer a class, “Computers for New Users,” on Mondays, Feb. 13-April 2, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the BDEC, 105 N. Main St., Roxboro. Marion Anthony-Jordan will be the instructor. Cost will be $65 plus cost of the textbook.

This course is designed for the brand new computer user. It will introduce the student to the parts of a personal computer and some common computer terminology. The student will learn general concepts that will help them work in a Windows environment on the computer; will also practice using a mouse and the keyboard; and will also learn the basics of sending, receiving, and replying to e-mail messages using a webmail account. No prior computer knowledge is needed for the class, but a USB flash drive is required.

Register by calling the BDEC at (336) 599-0032.
